As an employee separates from the college, a HR process triggers the disablement of the employee's network accounts. At the same time the accounts are disabled, an e-mail notification is sent to the former employee's supervisor. That notification e-mail includes a link to a form allowing supervisors to make special requests about the handling of e-mail and phone calls. If an out-of-office message needs to be set, you can make that request with the form.
Supervisors can make these wishes known early by clicking the "Provide Request Details" button above and completing the form (noting the date of deactivation).
