How to apply a hanging indent in a Canvas page (or assignment or discussion or other assessment) for references:

If you are requiring an MLA works cited page, such as this sample from Purdue University Online Writing Lab (you may also copy and paste this link to your web browser:  https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/mla_style/mla_formatting_and_style_guide/mla_sample_works_cited_page.html) and if you are demonstrating the process to your students in a Canvas Content Page or Assignment how their MLA Works Cited page should appear:

Mouse, Mickey. “Life in the Funny Papers.” Disneyland Review, vol. 96,

          no. 3, 1958, pp. 147-160.

Duck, Donald C. “My Life After Warner Bros. Studios.” Waterfowl Unlimited,

          3 July 2010, www.waterfowl.com/blog/2015/07/-3/my-life-after-warner-bros-studios.

          Accessed 25 February 2019.

<p style="margin-left: 20px; text-indent: -20px;">Bacon ipsum dolor...</p>
