If you so choose, we have many options for you to connect with students online in cases of inclement weather. eLearning is here to help so feel free to email support@tacomacc.edu with any questions you have.
We have a great synchronous meeting tool named Zoom and we can set you up with an account. You can just email support@tacomacc.edu and we can take care of that. With Zoom, you can screen share and students can attend with their computers, tablets, or phones (via an app or calling in).
You can record lectures using Panopto and post them for students to watch. You can login to Panopto through Canvas.
If there happens to be any downtime with portal logins, please note that you and your students can always get to Canvas by going to this link or through the Canvas link in ctcLink. You and students can also continue to use the Canvas mobile apps, as they will stay logged in.
