To log into your student email, you have a special format due to Microsoft having all students on a Server named "Student". You must add that to your email.
For example: Name = John Smith ID number = 201000222 Birth date = 12/07/1996
Would be: jsmith22207@student.tacomacc.edu
If you are giving your email to a friend or signing up for services, then you leave off the "Student".
Your email would be: jsmith22207@tacomacc.edu
Your password is the same one you use for the Portal (*Unless changed it would be the 201 student ID#)
