How do I scan to email with PaperCut on Canon copier

 

Important Note:  Scanning to email has a file size limitation of 25mb so if document has a large number of pages or lots of images, scan will fail.

It is suggested to use scan to OneDrive feature.  You can find those steps here

 

 

  1. Select User name and password

 

Note:  You can also scan your prox card to login. 

 

If you have not registered your prox card, the first time you scan it, it will ask you to register it.  You can find directions on how to register your prox card here

 

 

  1. Select the empty box under User name
 

 

  1. Enter in your user name - do not add @tacomacc.edu after user name
  2. Select OK
 

 

  1. Select the empty box under Password
 

 

  1. Enter in your password
  2. Select OK
 

 

  1. Select Log in
 

 

  1. Select Scan
 

 

  1. Select Scan to Email
 

 

  1. Select here to change the subject name, if applicable
 

 

  1. Enter in the subject name, if applicable
  2. Select OK
 

 

  1. Select here to change the filename, if applicable
 

 

  1. Enter in the filename, if applicable
  2. Select OK
 

 

  1. Select Start
 

 

  1. Select Finish when done
 

 

  1. Select the log out button
 

 

  1. Go to your email inbox and look for a email from copiers@tacomacc.edu with an attached PDF

 

 

 

  1. Select the drop down next to the file name
  2. From here, you can select either to open, preview or save
