If you find a USB drive on the ground or on the counter in the bathroom, don’t keep it and don’t try to use it. The USB drive could contain Malware that will be loaded onto a computer system, or cause some other problem for you or TCC’s computer system. It is human nature to be curious or want to help get the device back to the owner, but hackers are going to count on that and use it against you. If you find a USB drive laying around, please bring it to the IT Help Desk in Building 18. We will verify the device is good and attempt to find its rightful owner.
