How do I view assignment comments from my instructor in the Canvas Student app on my iOS device?

Follow these steps to view assignment comments from an instructor in the Canvas Student app on an iOS device:

  • From the Dashboard, select the course you want
  • Tap on the Assignments link and select the assignment you want
  • Next, tap on the Submission tab
    • Any comments that your instructor has left will appear in the window. You can also view the annotations by tapping on the name of the submission
    • Document annotations may include any of the following: text comments, stricken text, area annotations, point annotations, and drawings
    • To view point annotation comments, click on the point annotation
