The following steps explain how to send a message in the Student app on an iOS device:

• Start by tapping on the Inbox icon in the Dashboard
• From here, tap on the Add icon
• Then tap on the Select a course link and choose where you'd like to send the message
• Select the Add icon in the To field (type the name of the recipient to search by name)
• Select the full name of the recipient and user group (or tap on the All Members option)
• Tap on the Attach icon to include a file with the message
  • To select your chosen attachment file, tap on the Add icon, followed by how you want to attach it
  • Tap on the Delete icon to remove an attachment
• Continue with the Add icon if you need to attach more and tap on Done when you are finished
• Enter a subject for your message in the Subject field
  • Toggle the Send individual message to each recipient option if necessary
• Type your message in the Compose field
• Finally, when you are finished with your message, hit the Send link
