EvaluationKIT is the end of course survey (EOCS) software that uses Canvas as it's delivery portal. All courses that are being surveyed are now using EvaluationKIT. Regardless of whether the course is being taught in Canvas (a face-to-face classroom only course or is a grade book only, web-enhanced, hybrid online, or full online course), the location of surveys (taken anonymously by students) and the survey results (viewed by instructors, deans, or department chairpersons) are in the Canvas > Settings > End of Course Survey portal link.
Every person designated as a "Teacher" in a course will be surveyed. In a course where two or more instructors are team teaching, students will see a separate survey for each person designated as "Teacher." Each Teacher will only receive results for themselves, not for the other teacher, in their survey dashboards visible through the Canvas > Account > Settings > End of Course Survey portal.
Deans and/or department chairpersons are able to view the courses that are designated for their department only. They, too, can view their survey dashboards through the Canvas > Settings > End of Course Survey portal link. Click on this screen step of the survey viewing process.
