Master, Practice, or course for teaching?
If you would like to have your course setup in Canvas so that you can teach from it (it will have your students enrolled into it), then please submit a ticket and eLearning will get that setup for you. If you would like us to create practice and master courses for you, we would be happy to do that. Just submit a ticket with the names of the courses you would like us to create and we'll get that taken care of for you.
If you would like to have master courses or a practice course, you can create those yourself by following the next steps:
Start an new course Click the Start a New Course button. If you have already started a new course and would like to import content into that course, then go ahead and skip this step.
- (1) In the Enter a name for your course text box, type the name of the course. This could be Practice Course, ENGL 101 Master, or whatever else you would like to name the course.
- (2) In the And a shorter reference code text box, type the shorter code for your course. For example, ENGL 101, BIOL 100, HIM 165, etc.
- (3) Click Save & Skip the Rest
