Students taking CU courses, accounting and economics courses, and business math (BUS110, Math 146, 147, and 148) can use the Business Education Center to study, work, and ask questions of tutors.

The Math Advising and Resource Center (MARC)

MARC tutors are available during open hours for drop-in math help without the need for an appointment. The MARC has open study areas and a computer lab where students can study or work on math assignments in groups or individually. Students may drop in or make an appointment.
Some resources that can be used in the MARC or checked out for 2 hours are textbooks, supplemental textbook materials, calculators, rulers, and headphones. The MARC has a testing room available to TCC math students; you may take a Math test in the MARC with instructor permission only.

The WTC offers 1/2 hour and one hour one-on-one appointments with a math tutor. The center also features a large study space with computers where students can study on their own.

Tutors provided in the MARC, the WTC, and at our Gig Harbor location are knowledgeable about the different Math courses offered at TCC and can advise you on your options and which courses may be best for you. Resources available in the MARC include computers with a variety of math software, small whiteboards, math reference books and magazines.
Note :On the Gig Harbor Campus, math tutoring is available during scheduled times. Check the posted schedule in the learning lab for times.
