The Yubico Authenticator YubiKey

Your YubiKey has been set up and is ready for use. To begin, you will need to go to YubiKey.com and download the YubiKey Authenticator software for your Windows or Mac computer.

Use the Yubico Authenticator for Desktop on your Windows, Mac, or Linux computers to generate OATH credentials on your YubiKeys. 

Step 1:  Download the app to your desktop

Step 2:  Launch the installer and accept the default settings until complete

Step 3:  Plug your YubiKey into a USB port on your computer and launch the authenticator. You should see a screen like the one below.  Your account name should be displayed. If your account does not appear, please contact the help desk for assistance. 253-460-HELP (4357)

Step 4:  Log into Microsoft. When you get to the authentication option, you should copy the code from the authenticator and paste or type it in.
