Studio offers you a way to request captions! To do that click on the video file you want to view in your Canvas Studio Library.
Click on the Captions tab. Now If the recording does not have a caption file attached to it, you can use the Request tool to generate the caption transcript. This will automatically generate captions for the recording with an 85% accuracy.
Next, you will click on the Which language is spoken drop-down menu. You will then type in or select the language of the file. To confirm your request click the Request Button.
You will receive an email when Studio has finished creating the caption transcript.
The completed file will show in the Manage Captions section. Please review it and publish the file so that the captions can show within your recording.
You can then review the caption file, to edit the text for a specific timestamp click in the text field and then edit it to the desired text. Click Publish to publish the transcript. You can still edit captions once they've been published. Click on the Published link. Review and edit to make any changes, any changes you make will be automatically saved.
You also have caption options. You can edit, download, and replace your captions. The caption files download as .SRT files. We can convert these into word documents.
