You can embed Studio media recordings into Assignments, Discussions, and Pages. This will primarily be done through the LTI tool. We can embed media we've already created or upload new media recordings. Make sure you select "external tool" on the submission type.

Comments are enabled by default, but we can disable comments. Media views are always included in the analytics for your Studio Recordings. We also have the option to download our media.
Important to note, for graded assignments comments inline do not take the place of submissions, and will not show in the Speedgrader. For students, it's important to keep in mind when you embed or add your Studio Recordings to something like a discussion you won't be able to edit any details of it. Be sure to double-check the name and details before adding it to an assignment or discussion.
To access studio to upload a recording you will click Tools and click on Apps, then All Apps. From there you will see Canvas Studio in the list and you can click and select Studio. The page that loads will show your media, the dropdown menu will allow you to navigate from your My Library to your other courses as well. You can also search for specific files.
If you click on the Shared with Me option you can view shared recordings that are shared with you. To upload new media, click on the Add button. You can also drag and drop different media into the window. You can also bulk add multiple recordings at one time. Use the Ctrl + Click method or if you are on a Mac the Cmd+ Click method. Remember the max file size for an upload is 10 GB.
To select your desired media hover over the recording, and click select this. There will be different embed options that are off by default. The download option is only visible if you are the creator of the desired media selected. Click Embed to embed and incorporate the recording. You can then preview the embedded video. You can delete it and replace the recording if desired. Make sure to Save or hit Save & Publish to make the media visible to students.
