What are the share options for my Panopto Recording?

Here is a screenshot and explanations of what each of the share options mean in Panopto:

• Specific People: This option allows you to share the video with specific people as viewers.
  • This is a good option if you have a small number of people you want to distribute this video to, perhaps 1-10 users.
     
• Anyone at your organization with the link: Choosing this option will enable viewing access for anyone who can log into your Panopto site and has the direct link.
  • This means that anyone at Tacoma Community College who has this link can view the video. Please keep in mind that requires being signed into your TCC account.


• Anyone at your organization: This option will enable viewing access for anyone who can log into your Panopto site.
  • This means that anyone at Tacoma Community College can view the video. As long as the user can sign in they can view the video. Viewers must be signed into their Tacoma Community College account.
     

• Anyone with the link: Choosing this option will enable viewing access for anyone on the Internet who has the direct link, no sign-in is required.
  • Similar to YouTube's unlisted option. Anyone who has the link directly can access and view the video. Students, Staff, and Faculty do not have to be signed in to be able to view this video. This option gives the creator control over how the video is distributed.

• Public on the Web: Anyone on the Internet can find and view. No sign-in is required. 
  • This video can be viewable by anyone online, viewers do not have to be signed in to view the video.
