Forwarding Mitel Phones to an External Number

**Please note: Call forwarding to an external number will only work if your external number is a local call from campus**

  1. While you are on campus, select the Mitel Connect Client
  2. Click on your name
  3. Click on "external assignment number"
  4. At the Select Number box, create a new label such as "My Cell Phone"
  5. Type in your cell phone number
  6. Change the 1 ring to Automatically connect
  7. Change "rings to try" to 6, for example
  8. Click on Use Selected Number
  9. When you return to campus, follow these steps 1-7 and select Remove
