How to view Microsoft Office documents created in older formats that won't open

Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents that were created between 1997 and 2006, and saved in older versions of Microsoft Office (with file extensions of .doc, .xls, or .ppt) are no longer supported formats, and are blocked from opening on college computers. The only way for you to view the files is to open them online through a Browser and O365. 

Step 1:  Go to your Campus Email, and click on the "waffle button" in the upper left-hand corner.

Step 2:  Click on Word, Excel, or PowerPoint:

Step 3:  Locate the file in your OneDrive and click on it to open in O365:

In the All, click on Open, and locate the file you want to open in OneDrive.
