How do I change my TCC Portal password?

This guide will walk you through changing your Portal/Email/Computer log in password.

Log in

Go to:  https://my.tacomacc.edu

Sign in to CAS

1)  Enter your User Name and password and click LOGIN

2)  If you on campus and logged into a TCC computer, you can use the Quick Login, since you are already signed into the computer with your Portal User name and password

Profile

1)  Click on the Profile Tab

2) Click on Profile Information

Questions

1)  Pick your three security questions type in the answer

2)  Click Submit  

**Note** If your Phone number or email is incorrect, you must change those in ctcLink.  

Reset password

Click on the link to change your password

Old and new

1)  Enter your current password and then enter a new password following the guidelines:

New passwords are required to be a minimum of 8 characters in length and contain the following: • At least one Uppercase Letter • At least one Lowercase Letter • one number • one Non-alphanumeric characters (special characters) (for example, !, $, #, %)

2)  Enter the Symbols

3)  Click Change Password

Your new password is now set!

If you have forgotten your Password, there is a password reset tool you can use.

1) located at the TCC Portal Login

Go to https://my.tacomacc.edu and click on Self-service Password Reset Tool

How to get notified

1)  Enter your Portal User name.  For example: JDoe

2)  Pick how you wish to be notified, Answer your questions or a Verification Code sent to your cell phone

***To get the code sent to your cell phone, you must have that listed in ctcLink as your phone number.

3)  Click Submit  

Questions

1)  Answer the questions

2)  Type in the code

3)  Click Submit  

Verification Code

1)  Enter the code sent to your cell phone you have listed in ctcLink

2)  Click Submit

Enter new password and you are done!
