Here are the steps on how to fix broken links in a Canvas course:
- In a new tab or window go to the website with the new correct link
- Triple click in the address bar to select the website link
- Press CTRL + C or right click and choose Copy
- On the Canvas page with the wrong link, click and drag to select the broken link
- Press delete on your keyboard
- Type some words to create a title for this link
- Click and drag to select your link title
- On the toolbar above click on the link icon:
- Click in the box to the left of the "Insert Link" button
- Press either CTRL + V or right click and click paste
- Click on the Insert Link button
- Click Save to save your changes
