How to update your MFA Settings on ctcLink.

This article will guide you through the process of creating / updating your Multi-Factor authentication for your ctcLink account.
Follow these steps to set up or update MFA for your ctcLink account using Okta Verify, Google Authenticator, Security Key / Biometric Authenticator, and Google Authenticator. (Note: You only need to set up one method.)

1. Navigate to ctcLink  myaccount Sign In page,

2. On ctcLink Gateway portal, Select Okta portal from Manage Okta Account Settings section

3. Enter your user name and Password

4. Select the Password Settings application icon.

          

5. Under Security Methods, Select a Verification method of your choice and follow the prompts. Okta Verify or Google Authenticator recommended.

6. Click Set up

7. Download the Okta Verify app Using your mobile phone, scan the QR code and follow the prompts on your mobile device.

8. Once you're done, click Save , then sign out

If you prefer Google Authenticator, Here are the steps;

1. Click on the Set Up blue arrow on the Google authenticator option.

2. Use any authenticator on your phone such as Google authenticator, duo, Microsoft Authenticator or Okta.

3. Scan the QR code using your phone camera

4. Google Authenticator will  display a 6-digit code, Type the code into the 'Enter Code' field.

5. Click Verify.

If you prefer Security key/ Biometric Authentication method, Here are the steps;

1. Select set up arrow under Security Key or Biometric Authenticator

2. A prompt will ask you to register your authenticator device such as Windows Hello, Touch ID/Face ID on Mac, or a phone's fingerprint/face unlock

3. Choose where you want to save your pass key

  

4. Once your pass Key is saved you should sign out.

 

 

 

5. Set up is complete.
