Adding TCC-Printing to a mac

This is a guide on how to add the TCC-Printing queue to a Mac operating system

 

1.

  1. Select Go from the top menu bar
  2. Select Connect to Server
 

 

2.

  1. Enter smb://10.220.2.151/PCClient into the address field
  2. Select Connect

Note: You may get prompted to enter in local admin credentials, if you do enter those in.

 

 

3.

  1. Double click on the Mac folder
 

 

4.

  1. Drag the PCClient.app application to the application folder
 

 

5.

  1. Open the UFRII_v10.19.9_Mac folder
 

 

6.

  1. Open UFRII_v10.19.9_Mac.dmg
 

 

7.

  1. Open UFRII_LT_LIPS_LX_Installer.pkg

  1. Select OK

  1. Select Continue

  1. Select Continue

  1. Select Agree
 

 

12.

  1. Select Install

  1. Enter in the local admin credentials
  2. Select Install Software

  1. Select Close

  1. Select Applications
  2. Locate the PCClient.app and right click on it
  3. Select Show Package Contents

  1. Double click on the Contents folder

  1. Double click on the Resources folder
 

 

18.

  1. Double click on install-login-hook.command
 

 

19.

  1. Type the letter Y and hit enter key
 

 

20.

  1. Enter in the local admin password

  1. Select Terminal in the upper left
  2. Select Quit Terminal

  1. Select the Applications folder in finder window
  2. Locate the PCClient.app and double click to install
 

Note: The installation does not provide any visual indication of the installation

  1. Select the Apple icon in upper left
  2. Select System Settings

  1. Select General
  2. Select Login Items

  1. Select Applications in the left pane
  2. Locate and select PCClient.app
  3. Select Open

  1. Confirm that the PCClient.app is displayed to open at login

  1. Scroll down in left pane and select Printers & Scanners

  1. Select Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax

  1. Right click in an empty space
  2. Select Customize Toolbar

  1. Drag the advanced icon to the add printer dialogue box
  2. Select Done

  1. Select the advanced icon
  2. Select Windows printer via spoolss from the drop down
  3. Type in smb://username:password@10.220.2.151/TCC-Printing
  4. Enter in TCC-Printing
  5. Enter in TCC
  6. Select Choose a Driver drop down
 

Note: Replace username with your TCC username and replace password with your TCC password. For example: pjohns:12345

 

 

32.

  1. Select Select Software
 

 

33.

  1. Enter in 584
  2. Select the Canon Driver
  3. Select OK
 

 

34.

  1. Select Add

 
 

 

35.

When ready, open any document you wish to print and print that document

 
  1. Select the correct budget number
  2. Select Print
 

 

36.

  1. Select OK
