This guide will walk you through the process of downloading a Podcast of a video to be viewed off line.
Panopto
In your course, click on Panopto Recordings
Video list
Hover the mouse over the video you want to download and click on Settings
Outputs
1) Click on Outputs
2) Click on Download Podcast
Download
A MP4 file will be created in your browser's Download folder
Downloads page
1) Click on the icon to take you to the browsers settings
2) Click on Downloads
Save file
Left click and HOLD to drag the file out of the browsers download fold to your desk top
***I would recommend creating a folder to put the video in
Email
You can now email the video to your students or even load them into Canvas as a document so they can view it in the course without having to need an Internet connection
