Why is there no PC audio playing in the classroom?

There are several reasons on why the computer audio won't play into the classroom that I have encountered

Here are the steps on troubleshooting why there is no audio:

(1)         Make sure they are on the computer input on the Extron device by pressing the computer button on top of the podium or the computer input on the touch panel

(2)         Make sure the volume level on the computer is all the way up

(3)         Make sure the audio level within the program they are using is all the way up (Example

YouTube, CNN or wherever)

(4)         Lastly use the rotary knob on top of the podium to lower and raise the volume.  If there is a touch panel, press the "audio control" button at the button to access the volume control buttons

If none of the above work, the last thing to check is to ensure the RevoLab xTag microphone is not set to the default audio output

(1)  Hit the start menu located in the lower left corner

(2)  Select System

Settings

(3)  Click on "Hardware and Sound"

Sound Properties

(1)  Click on "Sound"

(2) Click on "Sound control panel"

Disabling or Enabling Speakers

(1)  Right click on the top "Speakers"

(2)  Select "Set as Default Device" - Once this is completed you will see a green checkmark Disabling RevoLab Microphone

(1)  Right click on the "Revolab xTag"

(2)  Select "Disable"

RevoLab Microphone now disabled

You should now see the text "Disabled" underneath the RevoLab xTag (1) Select "ok" when done
