View Quiz Result for Quizzes with Lockdown Browser

View Result works only with Classic Quizzes with Respondus Lockdown Browser

On Lockdown Browser dashboard, if the command, Require Lockdown Browser to view post-exam feedback and results, is checked, students must go Lockdown browser directly to see the result.

If it's unchecked on the dashboard but the 'Let students see their quiz responses(Incorrect Questions will be marked in Student Feedback)' is checked, they will see the result in the Canvas.

If you uncheck 'Let students see their quiz responses(Incorrect Questions will be marked in Student Feedback)' in Canvas Quiz settings, students cannot see the result whatsoever whether they go into the lockdown browser or not.

  • New Quizzes with Repondus Lockdown Browser: It's recommended to remove the Lockdown Browser requirement after all exam submissions have occurred. If you do this, then it is possible for the students to navigate to "grades" and then click on the exam title. The exam feedback should then display. This option would most commonly be used if the exam is in a "locked" state due to the availability settings you've enabled for the quiz.
  •  'View Results Only Once After Each Attempt' setting: Keep View Results "Only Once After Each Attempt" enables, but via the LockDown Browser Dashboard, uncheck the box that requires the use of LockDown Browser to view the answers. The students will already be in LockDown Browser after exam submission and the results will immediately show. Or, stop using the setting until Instructure can implement a fix. It is a known issue and they are working on fixing.
