• Appointments can be made in person at the Writing & Tutoring Center (Building 07, Room 221) 
• You can also search for and schedule tutoring sessions yourself using the "TutorTrac" system via the Quick Links in your student portal. 
• Cancellations can only be made by calling 253.566.6032.
• We ask that you call at least 3 hours before your scheduled appointment if you are planning to cancel your tutoring session.

Can I be scheduled with the same tutor every session?

1. Although we do not schedule permanent tutoring appointments (*at the same time with the same tutor throughout the quarter, We do our best to accommodate your needs.
2. Our tutors are scheduled and available on a “first-come, first-scheduled” basis.
3. Tutoring appointments can be created up to one week in advance, and it is best to book as early as you can if you would like your choice of tutors. 

How do I get drop-in help at the Writing and Tutoring Center?

1. Drop-in tutoring provides tutoring help on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to tutor availability.
2. Arriving 10 to 15 minutes before the drop-in time will improve the chances of getting assistance.
3. Students waiting for drop-in help should sign in on the sign-in sheet and specify the subject they want help with.
4. Students are only eligible to keep their names on the drop-in list if they remain in the Writing & Tutoring Center.
5. Drop-in appointments are NOT guaranteed.
6. Check your Student Portal or call 253-566-6032 for current hours of operation.
